With Arizona temperates ranging from subfreezeing to scorching hot, climate variations can dramatically impact the fragile Southwester ecosystems that thrive on the abundant sunshine and scarce water. For example, drought conditions and drier forests have opened the door to the devastating effects of forest fires bark beetle infestation.
